The seed for “Ají” was planted during a dada live looping session in México during 2020 quarantine. A year later, in Patagonia Argentina, “El Feo” (that’s Spanish for “The Ugly”, how it was called originally) takes a song form. Finally in 2022, back in México and thanks to the gathering with Paco Fierro (drums) and Bubu Tonatiuh (bass), the piece reaches its definitive shape: AJI, an homage to the symbol and the flavor.
This song is inspired by the amazing and “go to” band in fusion genre: The Aristocrats and is the first single of TRISOM, the improvisation trio that Paco, Bubu and Juan created.
I´m an independent musician from Patagonia living between Argentina and México. Live looping artist, guitarist and multi instrumentalist.
